My Story: A Bridge Between Two Worlds

As an Italian-American, I bring a unique blend of cultures, languages, and traditions to every wedding I plan. I was raised in Connecticut by my big, beautiful Calabrese family — with one foot in the U.S. and the other firmly planted in southern Italy. Whether we were gathered around the table in Connecticut or visiting relatives in Calabria, family, food, and celebration were always at the heart of everything.

That connection truly blossomed during college, when I had the opportunity to intern in Florence. Living and working in the heart of Tuscany, I became immersed in the region’s rich history, captivating art, and vibrant culture. I spent my days wandering cobblestone streets, exploring hidden gardens, and falling in love with the rhythm of Tuscan life.

It didn’t take long before I realized that Tuscany had captured my heart completely. From the golden hills and endless vineyards to the warmth of the local people, I felt a sense of belonging I had never experienced before. That time in Florence ignited a lifelong passion not just for Italy, but for Tuscany’s true essence: its beauty, authenticity, and soul.

From Hospitality to Wedding Planning

Since then, my journey has taken me across two countries and over 30 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, and the travel industry. I’ve worked with both Italian and U.S. companies, organizing everything from corporate events to high-end guest experiences at luxury Tuscan vacation homes.

Through it all, my love for Tuscany only deepened and so did my desire to help others experience the magic of this place. That passion inspired me to take a bold step and launch Italy’s first DIY wedding and party e-commerce business. It was an exciting chapter that allowed me to combine creativity, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments in personal, unforgettable ways.
