ELAINE & NICHOLAS - Tuscan Hillside Wedding
Elaine and Nicolas's wedding was an international event. It brought together guests from different corners of the world. This gathering added a truly cosmopolitan atmosphere to the celebration. The couple decided to host their wedding at the groom's parents' vacation home. This home is nestled in the picturesque Arezzo countryside. It provided a charming and idyllic setting for the festivities. The hilly landscape posed a delightful challenge. Custom elements were created, including a dance floor and musician platform that elegantly adapted to the natural topography. There was a chic powder room reflecting the couple's discerning taste.

"Dear Rose,
It seems impossible to know how to thank you adequately. You are more than spectacular. Your creativity and attention to detail & willingness to go way beyond made our wedding a treasure. You have been very generous with your time and a pleasure to be with. Thanks again with all our hearts. Elaine & Nicholas"

Camilla and PJ – Tuscan Catholic Wedding – July 2010
Camilla and PJ, a lovely couple from Ireland, had a heartfelt vision of a romantic Catholic wedding and reception at the stunning resort nestled in the hillsides of Tuscany, where they and their cherished guests were staying. A bus whisked their guests from the resort to the enchanting ancient Catholic church, and then back to the resort for a delightful poolside cocktail hour and a reception beneath a gorgeous tent, offering breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills. The bride and groom held a special request for the music, opting for an opera singer over a traditional DJ or live band. The mesmerizing voice of the opera singer filled the ancient church with the beautiful notes of “Ave Maria”. The melodic opera singer continued to enchant the guests at the reception, drawing everyone onto the dance floor with sweet, harmonious melodies throughout the evening.

"Dear Rose, words can not express our gratitude for all the work and effort you put into making our whole wedding weekend so perfect for us. It was like you saw our dreams for our wedding and exceeded all our expectations. You went above and beyond with all your personal touches that were so unexpected it was like you were an extra bridesmaids. All our guests from Ireland commented on how much organisation went into the whole weekend and we have only you to thank for it. Without you we would not have been able to have our wedding in Italy. Everything from start to finish was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you both so much for the wonderful memories.
Lots of love Camilla & PJ"

EMMA & ZAC – Shabby Chic Tuscan Wedding April 2013

Emma and Zac from England had a delightful spring country-style wedding in the charming village of Anghiari in Tuscany, Italy. They celebrated their love with a heartwarming civil ceremony in the historical town of Anghiari, followed by a joyful reception at the farmhouse they rented for themselves and their beloved guests. Everyone enjoyed taking cooking classes during their stay, creating delicious fresh pasta that was savored during the reception. To top it off, the bride and groom requested an authentic Tuscan country-style wedding cake, and were pleased with the three delightful varieties prepared for them. As a token of appreciation, the guests were gifted with exquisite olive oil and almond candy. The entire celebration was filled with joy and love, creating beautiful memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

"When we decided that we would like to get married in Italy we really did not know where to start. We feel so, so fortunate to have been put in contact with Rose Bonesse. We explained to Rose the type of wedding we wanted, something rustic and relaxed with a place for our friends and family to stay. The venue Rose found us was more than perfect, it was everything we could have wished for and more. We both agreed that it was fundamental to us that the organisation of the wedding would not become stressful. I remember Rose saying that it was her job to ensure that we did not feel like that, especially on the wedding day. Rose was fantastic at replying to our e-mails and made the whole process extremely smooth. Lots of people asked us how on earth we would organize a wedding in a different country. Rose explained everything that we needed to do, she checked any forms that needed to be completed and found out all of the information we needed. I can honestly say that we felt completely relaxed, calm and content on the days leading up to and including the wedding day. Feeling like that made enjoying the day from start to finish even more enjoyable and special. Although we tried to learn as much Italian as we could before the wedding day it did not quite stretch to the fine details of liaising with the photographers, hairdressers, beauticians, Mayor etc. So Rose kindly supported us and accompanied me for trials and the hairdresser and beautician, ensuring that we were happy with everything. Rose’s attention to detail was amazing, she added fantastic surprises to the wedding day, decorating the room for the ceremony with beautiful ribbon and organizing exploding confetti (making for a very interesting photo!) She and Carlo worked so incredibly hard on our wedding day and dedicated themselves to ensuring it was perfect for us, even down to finding me a cushion for my chair at the reception so I was really comfortable! However they remained in the background, never demanding anything of us and always making sure that the day ran exceptionally smoothly. This is quite a feat in a country where nothing happens on time….but the beauty of Italy is everyone adopts a more relaxed attitude to time. All of our guests continue to talk about the fantastic time we all shared and quite a few (including us) are planning a return trip. The hospitality shown to us by the owner of the reception venue could never be repaid. Quite a few of the guests (children and adults) learnt how to make pasta a couple of days before the wedding at the reception venue and so this was used for one of the courses for the wedding day meal. The food and wine were exceptional and unforgettable. We ate from 6:30 pm until midnight and then danced into the early hours! We had a day that far exceeded our hopes and dreams. The venue for our wedding, the reception and the people will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Rose made it all possible and we will always be grateful for such a fantastic start to our married life."

Jessica and Gianni – Shabby Chic Tuscan Wedding – October 2018
